Description
The Sturmpanzer IV nicknamed “Brummbär” is a German assault infantry gun based on the Panzer IV medium tank. Used on the Eastern and Western fronts namely in the battles of Kursk, Anzio, and Normandy. Serially produced from April 1943, a total of 306 vehicles were made. They were distributed over four separate Sturmpanzer battalions.
