Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz.186), official designation Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B was a German super heavy tank destroyer deployed at the end of World War II. Jagdtiger represents one of the peaks of the Third Reich's arms industry's efforts to build ever heavier and larger armored vehicles. It was the heaviest and best armored mass-produced armor; his main weapon was also a record - a 128 mm PaK 44 L / 55 cannon. However, the extraordinary production price and fuel consumption corresponded to this. The basis for Jagdtiger became the chassis and tub of the super heavy tank Tiger II (also Königstiger). 88 pieces were produced; he was deployed during the battle of the Ardennes, at Remagen and further on the Western Front. Several machines fought in Austria against the Red Army.
The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.
The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
