Description

Rocket launcher BM 13-16 Katyusha belonged to the Red Army during the Second World War. The first seven rocket launchers were deployed to fight on July 14, 1941 near the town of Rudnja. Here, for the first time, the Germans heard the typical squeaking whistle of the fired Katyusha, which they later came to call the "Stalin organ" (Stalinorgel). BM 13-16 rocket launchers have become a feared weapon. Salv's principle then made the inaccuracy of the missiles their advantage. The large scatter allowed a volley of missiles fired in one direction to cover a large target area by a tornado of shards that destroyed all living things. "Katyusha" rocket launchers have become one of the symbols of the Great Patriotic War.

The models of the Zvezda series of the Snap Kit series are intended mainly for beginning builders. Individual plastic pieces need to be cut from the moldings with a knife or snapped out with pliers. The plastic pieces are designed so that they can snap together and thus hold together. We definitely recommend gluing the individual pieces together after clicking to increase the strength of the models, eg with Revell Contacta Professional glue.

The assembled model must then be painted with enamel (synthetic) or acrylic paints on plastic models.
