Tension Coupler De-Coupler Hand Tool
This tool is perfect for uncoupling tension lock couplers found on most British models. No more jamming and no more derailments. Simple two step process: Reverse the wagons into position (to remove the tension from the couplers). Then insert the 'spade' under the couplings of the two wagons. Now, let go of the handle - and ta-dah! Wagons Uncoupled. Under it's own weight, the de-coupler handle will lower causing the spade to raise up and push the tension lock couplers into their upright uncoupled position.
