The N scale Shelvoke & Drewry Freightlifter in a distinctive railway livery, that of British Rail from its yellow liveried days. The model is based on the vehicle first produced in the early 1950s for the London Brick Company but its capabilities were soon seen by other users, notably the Armed Forces and the railway companies . Decorated in the British Rail signature yellow and registered VXR 331, our model incorporates the optional Dualdrive cab component. The red British Rail logo is printed beneath the cab windows together with the Freight Lifter N 979 lettering. Note the large red wheels, black spotlight and detailed lifting gear and ladders. It's all ready for action on your trackside!
