Description
This is a post/freight train, which was in charge of the baggage transport on Tokaido/Sanyo mainlines in the age of JR. In 1968, pallet transport system started by new type pallet cars. Among them, MANI 44 is regarded as a completed form of pallet freight car. At a first glance, it rather looks similar to a freight car, though. It was seen across Japan operated in combination with conventional freight cars and post cars.
