1/48 British 2-ton Austin K2 4x2 Ambulance

The British Army produced over 13,000 vehicles from 1940 to the end of World War II, and the 2-ton 4x2 field ambulance was a powerful vehicle for relief operations. The vehicle body was improved based on a civilian light truck, and the Army Medical Corps developed its own rear compartment. The theaters in which it was engaged in missions were wide-ranging, including France, North Africa, Italy, and Europe after the Normandy landings, and it was seen not only in operation by the army but also at air force bases around the country.
