In March 1944, the US military, which was about to invade Europe, decided to modify a heavily armoured assault tank based on the M4A3 "Sherman" medium tank to deal with the powerful armoured spearheads of the German army. In May, the M4A3E2, nicknamed "Jumbo", began to be delivered to the US military. In order to strengthen the protection, the armour thickness of the vehicle body and turret was greatly increased, bringing the weight of the vehicle to 38 tons. Although the battlefield survivability was greatly improved, the maximum speed was reduced to 35 kilometres per hour. In actual combat, the M4A3E2 performed well and became one of the most distinctive M4 tanks.
TS-045 American M4A3E2 assault tank "Jumbo" is a 1/35 scale assembled model kit launched by MENG. When the kit is complete, the car will be 206mm long and 78mm wide. The key structures of the model's suspension system are consistent with those of the actual vehicle, ensuring mobility and authenticity. Models include through-axle movable tracks and one-piece soft rubber tracks, with "Platypus" track extension connectors available.
