In Germany, the gun with a special form in which the caliber of the barrel gradually decreases from the breech to the muzzle was called the Gerlich gun. It is characterized by the increased power of the bullets fired, and in Germany, Hermann Gerrich theorized it in 1927 and put it into practical use as an anti-tank gun in 1940. The smallest of the three types is the 2.8cms PzB41 Gerlich gun. The caliber was 28mm at the breech and 20mm at the muzzle. It was adopted from 1941 and demonstrated its power as an anti-tank gun.
The model reproduces the 2.8 cm sPzB41 deployed by the German army in World War II on a 1/35 scale. The barrel and mount are of course mechanically finished. In addition, a gun mount equipped with double armored mantlets and rubber tires is also modeled. I am also looking forward to the unique shape of the gun. In addition, this kit includes a limber that picks up ammunition when towing a gun, and a war horse that pulls it.
Three figures of German soldiers accompanying it are also modeled. The pose of the war horse that pulls the cannon and the limber with force is realistic to reproduce the muscles. German soldiers have a slightly relaxed appearance while moving, which is different from the battle state. It is also possible to finish a small atmosphere scene with this set alone.
Plastic model kit requires glue and paint to complete (not included).
