Hasegawa - 1/24 Minolta Toyota 88C
Toyota 88 C is a Japanese racing car, which was presented to the public for the first time in 1988 and was dedicated to starts in the season in 1988 and 1989. From the beginning it was assumed to start in the World Championship in the so-called category or group C, which was established in 1982. The 88 C was developed as the successor to the Toyota 87 C, with Hiro Fujimori as the main designer. It was created as an evolutionary development of its predecessor using many of its elements and duplicating virtually all the main design assumptions. The 88 C model was powered by a Toyota 3S-GTM 2.1-liter turbocharged engine, and the car was based on a self-supporting aluminum body. The Toyota 88 C started a total of 24 races without winning any of them.
