Description

Herpa 1/200 Luftwaffe - LTG63, Hohn AB "Norm 72"

Through to the 1980s, the C-160s of the German Air Force were painted in the so-called "Norm 72" camouflage scheme with grey and olive drab, but with rudder, wingtips and engine pylons painted in a high-visibility orange. Since entering service with Transport Wing 63 back in 1968, the Transall has proven its reliability on countless military and humanitarian missions. The unit, based at Hohn in Northern Germany, is the last German unit equipped with the C-160.

The range of aircraft model types, operators and scales from Herpa is vast and the quality is exceptional. All Herpa Wings models feature detailed printing of aircraft liveries and markings. The detailed shapes of the models have been produced according to drafts provided by the manufacturers. And, just like the manufacturers of the originals, Herpa is utilizing the latest technology and quality assurance for development and production.
