WB Models WB2010 replicates in 1/200 scale diecast the B777-381ER (-81 is Boeing’s customer code for All Nippon Airways) registration JA789A in All Nippon Airways (ANA) “Star Wars BB-8” livery.
Malaysia Airlines
Starting in 2015, ANA, Japan’s largest airline, as part of an agreement with The Walt Disney Company (Japan), decorated three of their aircraft that operate international services in Star Wars” themed Liveries.
The first was a Boeing 787-9 registration JA873A in the “R2-D2” theme, followed by a B777-300ER, JA789A in the “BB-8” theme, a character from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The third is a B777-200, JA743A, in predominantly yellow is the “C-3PO” theme.
JA789A in the “BB-8” theme was withdrawn from service in March 2022.
