Description

After a disappointing 2020, Ferrari faces the 2021 Formula 1 season with the SF21, a single-seater optimized compatibly with what allows a regulation that has remained more or less the same. The aerodynamics have been revised and the car now exhibits better behavior and more homogeneous tire wear. The drive unit, the 066, has gained in smooth delivery. The technical organization chart was almost completely upset, after Louis Camilleri's departure at the beginning of December 2020. Mattia Binotto remains the director of sports management. As far as the drivers are concerned Leclerc is confirmed, joined by Carlos Sainz jr, an already experienced driver, in his seventh season in Formula 1. New reserve driver and official tester, Englishman Callum Ilott.
