The F-15E is arguably the USAF's most powerful air superiority fighter, reaching a maximum speed of Mach 2.5 at high altitude. The two-seater is used both for air-to-ground operations and as an interceptor for night and all-weather missions. With a maximum weapon payload of 11t, it is able to accommodate a wide range of different weapon systems, including laser-guided bombs of the JDAM and Paveway series.
