Hobbyco has been a retail shop in the City of Sydney since 1935. During that period, Hobbyco has moved 6 times as the business grew or as buildings it occupied changed. Our last move from Pitt St Mall was indeed fortunate as we have arrived in one of the best shopping locations in Australia...
The Queen Victoria Building. http://www.qvb.com.au/
Our 650 Square metre Flagship City Store is located in the QVB, 455 George St Sydney on Levels 2 & 3 at the Town Hall Station or southern end of the building.
There are multiple lifts in the building as well as escalators to Level 2. The QVB has its own 700
We are also 100m from the Pitt St/Park St Monorail Station and mid way between Museum and St James Stations or get off at Town Hall Station. We are a stones throw from Darling Harbour and the Kings St Wharf precinct. Many buses routes run pass the building in George St. http://www.qvb.com.au/getting-here
Any trip to the City would not be complete without a visit to the historic QVB and all it has to offer. Now with Hobbyco as an anchor tenant there is added reason to visit the QVB. It is well catered with unique retail shops, casual restaurant and cafes. On the top levels we are away from all the hustle and bustle below.
So come on in and explore. You will enjoy the experience, see our large working model railroad, many built up models on display to give you inspiration and a selection of over 30,000 products to chose from.
