Tall, taller, Antonov. With a length of 84 meters, the An-225 is not only the largest aircraft in the world, but also the only one with six engines. Originally developed to transport the Soviet space shuttle Buran, the only aircraft of this type now flies the heaviest loads around the globe. It currently holds the record for the highest loads transported by air. ste Total freight (247 tonnes) and the heaviest single piece (190 tonnes).
